7 Days Bocas del Toro Caribbean Retreat Vacation Package

Day 1: Arrive at Panama

  Airport pickup and transfer to the Sheraton Panama Hotel will be arranged for you. Check in and get ready for your Panama adventure.

Day 2: Panama City Tour - Transfer and Airfare to Isla Colon (Bocas del Toro)

Half-day morning Panama City tour includes a visit to the ruins of Old Panama and Casco Viejo (the old city compound) which dates from the late 1600's. A bilingual guide will describe the events in history leading up to the eventual movement of the capital city to its present location.

After the tour, you will be transferred to Albrook local airport for your short flight to Isla Colon. Representatives of Swan’s Cay or Punta Caracol will be greeting you at the Island for transfer and check in. Take the rest of day to get familiar with the Island and dine at anyone of its 15 well renowned restaurants. (D)

Day 3: Dolphins Bay, Coral Cay, and Bastimentos National Park Tour

This boat tour starts with a visit to the nearby Dolphins Bay, where you will have a chance to spot Dolphins on their wild habitat. Have your cameras ready! Crawl Cay, your next destination, is one of the most frequently visited destinations in Bocas del Toro. Most photographs of Bocas del Toro include a photograph of the restaurant that is located there, which extends out over the water. You will have a chance to grab your lunch at this gorgeously set restaurant. Snorkeling is common here, as there are numerous spots within a short distance.

After lunch, the tour will head to the Island of Bastimentos, one of the largest islands of the Archipelago and also designated as a National Park. The island itself contains a healthy supply of wildlife. White faced and Howler monkeys are common, as are sloths and the ever so popular red poison arrow frogs that can only be found on this Island. Bastimentos is by far the most popular tourist destination of the area. After exploring this last destination, your tour will head back to the main island, Isla Colon. Overnight at Swan’s Cay or Punta Caracol . (B,D)

Day 4: Bahia Honda Indian Village and Bat Cave Tour

This tour starts with a boat ride to a small Indian village, at which point you'll get into a small Indian Cayuco. You'll then proceed on a jungle excursion, up river, for approximately one hour, during which time you might see sloths, and a wide variety of other tropical animals. Upon reaching the drop-off point, you'll enjoy a short 30 minute jungle hike before arriving at 2 large bat caves. After viewing the caves you will head back to the Indian village for lunch. There will also be sufficient time for snorkeling in the mangroves that are within the National Park before the tour heads to the main Island in the afternoon. Overnight at Swan’s Cay or Punta Caracol . (B,D)

Day 5: Relaxing at Isla Colon

The sixth day we will give you the whole day to relax on one of the most beautiful islands in Panama. You will have a chance to take on any other adventure or activity that you desire. Rent a motorbike to explore the Island or just chill on your hotel private beach or deck. In the night, get ready for a fabulous rain of stars and the beautiful bars or restaurants that we recommend, such as the famous “Barco Hundido” (Wreck Deck) or the exquisite “El Pecado da Sabor (the sin is tastefull)”. Overnight at Swan’s Cay or Punta Caracol . (B,D)

Day 6: Transfer to Panama City

After your noon checkout, you will be ready for your flight back to Panama City, where someone will greet you for transfer back to the Sheraton Panama Hotel . Take the afternoon free for relaxing or shopping. (B)

Day 7: Depart Panama

Hotel pickup and transfer to the International Airport will be arranged for you at the time of your convenience.
